Design concept
The identity design for The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Faculty of Humanities starts with the idea that “Everything under the sun and humanities also begins at the sun.”
The design is based on Chinese characters 「 人 」(human)丶「 文 」(culture) to design. At the same time, it also shows an image of a person walking, and the culture has advocated walking in ancient and modern times.
To echo the faculty motto: Where Language, History, Culture, Communication and Technology Converge.

We’re glad to be invited by Bone Studio to join their 2nd Anniversary event. I stayed at their cafe on 8/5/2022 to write message cards in calligraphy. The writing style for this event was mainly modern calligraphy, derived from copperplate.
